On April 16th, my wife and I celebrated our One year anniversary in the same city where I asked her to become my wife…
We stayed at the Grand Bohemian Hotel right across the street from the Biltmore House and on our anniversary we visited the house to explore the gardens… was hoping for more living flowers, but half wilted flowers will just have to do. Still amazing to see a house of that size.
After 6 long months of waiting, we finally closed on our house. Thanks to Ashley our making this process go so smoothly. Couldn’t be any happier with the home.
We’re setting sail on the Mediterranean!
We’ve booked a 12 Day Cruise that disembarks from Barcelona, Spain … sailing onto locations of Monte Carlo, Florence, Rome, Messina, Greece, Croatia and ending in Venice!
We’re super excited to be exploring this part of the world together and consider it a once in a lifetime occasion, so why not do it for our honeymoon!
The day I married my best friend…Kelley. Thanks to all who made it happen.
Big Thanks to Cheyenne and Geoff for capturing our special day.
Here are some pictures from our engagement session with Cheyenne and Geoff of The Schultzes.
Our Trip to Asheville, NC
Trip – December 18th-21st, 2009
Proposal – Sunday, December 20, 2009
From the words of my beautiful wife
Well we kind of planned a last minute trip to visit the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC (America’s Largest Home, built by George Vanderbilt in 1913). This was the weekend of the “Blizzard of 2009″, even though we did not get a flake of snow in Charlotte while traveling West it was quite a different story. Luckily we left Saturday and the roads were clear but there was a good foot of snow on the ground when we arrived to the Biltmore. It was absolutely beautiful, it continued to flurry all weekend long.
